LAHORE: A Pakistan Worldwide Airways (PIA) Dubai-bound flight from Lahore, narrowly escaped an accident after a chicken collided with the aircraft, ARY Information reported.
As per particulars, the incident occurred shortly after takeoff, prompting the pilot to make an emergency touchdown.
The PIA flight PK-203, captain instantly contacted air visitors management, requesting permission for an emergency touchdown and managed to land the aircraft carrying 150 passengers safely.
A workforce of PIA engineers from Karachi will journey to Lahore on PK-304 to conduct an intensive inspection of the plane. The workforce will carry out a boroscope inspection to evaluate the harm attributable to the chicken strike to the engine.

The disagreeable video of the incident went viral on social media which confirmed the leakage of the washroom of the PIA’s Boeing 777 plane travelling from Istanbul – Turkey to Islamabad.
The leakage led to soiled water, defecation and bathroom paper piling up all through the aircraft, inflicting a powerful disagreeable odour that left passengers feeling extraordinarily uncomfortable.
The airline apologized for the inconvenience induced to the passengers and warranted them that crucial measures could be taken to stop such incidents from occurring sooner or later.
